Improved Insulation by 50%
In an age when energy efficiency is paramount our product outperforms standard glass units by 50%, thereby reducing potentially expensive heating bills. A unique micro-coating is applied to Celsius, which ensures heat from inside the home if reflected back into the property rather than lost through the glazing. Thanks to this feature, Celsius has a U-value of just 1.2
Up to 74% of heat reflected
Our unique solar coating reflects up to 74% of total solar energy. This is nearly three times that of standard glass. The micro-coating applied to Celsius therefore gives it a solar factor of 22%. Its ability to reflect so much solar heat can prevent conservatories from overheating during hot weather.
Glare reduced by 44%
Celsius glass reduces glare by up to 44% all year round compared to a standard double glazed unit. The subtle blue tint applied to the glass gives a visible light transmittance of 45% and reduces the uncomfortable glare that can occur with ordinary glass products. At the same time, it still allows sufficient light through for the conservatory to be enjoyed on duller days.
